How To Cook Up A Cover

I start by scouting locations... I was on the hunt for close and interesting wineries.

Both the table and vineyard settings at Baileyana were very intriguing.

We picked a time, sunrise!! And found some enthusiastic participants to model for our mock shoot.

*watch out for snails

I like to try different angles and set-ups before narrowing down the possibilities, and most importantly I always entertain the mock-shoot models!

A successful mock shoot means only one thing, it's time for the real deal!

Then it's off to the graphic designer and straight to your mailbox!

Me Chinese Me Play Joke.....

Finally! We have good chinese food on the Central Coast! These photos are from China Dragon in Morro Bay, if you haven't been there I suggest you check it out. & don't come running back to me saying there is better chinese food in San Francisco... yes I know San Fran has the best chinese food, that's like saying "well it was ok but there's better chinese food in China" - no shit jackass! So since Morro Bay is closer to SLO now we have this....

More Bung for Your Buck!

So the parents got a puppy, rad right!? No, this just mean more crap on my porch! ...but this kid is pretty cute & right now nameless! Anyone got any ideas? I guess she was originally named Queen Elizabeth and they called her Betty, but we can't have anymore B names. Even Bogey doesn't understand that his name is not also Bajee... So no B and no S names and keep it under 2 syllables... We tried calling her Queenie but she really hasn't taken to that, and I really need something to yell at her when she tries to eat Bajee's crunchies!

Well this kid is pretty cute and loves to have her belly rubbed, however she is not too smart and does not speak a lick of english... if that helps.

Oh Rain....

This week totally felt like summer, I mean it was almost too hot. But it's back... the stupid rain!

Good news, though, there are strawberries at the farmer's market!!!! Are you jealous now, rest of the world!?!

TACO POWER: Spikes, SLO

It doesn't get much better than Taco Tuesday, and my fav for that wonderful weekday is Spikes. All you need to know is whether you want meat or bean... I tend to get the bean because how often do you get bean tacos. These guys have a super crunch and that's what cheap tacos are all about - crunch factor!!! These guys get a 10 in the crunch game!
